Happy Retirement, Mark Boyer!
Please join Club Assist in extending best wishes to Mark Boyer, Director of Motor Club Battery Services (MCBS), who officially retired on March 31, 2019.
In 2017, Mark was appointed to Director of Motor Club Battery Services, leading Club Assist's Joint Venture (JV) with AAA Ohio Auto Club (OAC). Through his experience and leadership, the JV has been an amazing success. Mark's efforts, patience, and determination led Motor
Club Battery Services to exceed all of Club Assist’s strategic plans and objectives last year.
“Mark has a long history with both the automotive industry and AAA Ohio Auto Club. He has been an integral part of the AAA Battery Program since its inception,” said John Tutt, President and CEO of Club Assist.
With a keen understanding of people and operations, along with sound, strategic thinking that's second to none, Mark's support had a direct impact on the Provider network, which resulted in the delivery of great service to AAA Members.
Mark’s professional career in the United States Army started in 1974. He went on to serve for twenty years in many roles, including a tour in the Middle East during Operation Desert Storm. After his time of service, Mark joined AAA in 1994 as an Approved Auto Repairer Representative. He progressed all the way to Director of the OAC Club Owned Fleet before joining Motor Club Battery Services.

Mark’s ability to make connections with our Provider network enabled double-digit increases and ensured that our Members received world class battery services. His impact will be felt for many years to come,” said Brian Pratt, Vice President, Automotive Services, for AAA Ohio Auto Club.
Mark will be greatly missed as he moves into this next phase of his life, filled with family, friends, and grandchildren, along with his many interests. Mark, Club Assist wishes you all the best!
