Wayne Allen
Vice President, Operations Asia Pacific
Wayne joined Club Assist in 1997 and began in the Victorian Area Managers position. Between 1989 and 1997 he worked for Australian Battery Company where he held positions from branch management level up to State Manager. Wayne is currently responsible for business in our Asia Pacific region and heads up the Asia Pacific Management Team. Wayne has 24 years’ experience in the automotive industry and holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA).
Joe Bemelmans
Vice President, Global Marketing
Joe joined Club Assist in May 2012 in the role of Vice President Global Marketing. In his position, Joe is responsible for Asia Pacific, North American and European markets. He oversees the global organizational strategies focused on brand and full-mix marketing, creative design development and delivery, market research and intelligence, as well as digital marketing and digital asset management.
Joe has over 15 years of experience from the auto finance, financial services, telecommunications and energy industries with companies such as General Electric, Telstra, Yellow Pages, ANZ, NAB and AGL Energy. Joe has a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Accounting & Economics, a Masters of Marketing from Monash University, as well as an Executive MBA from Australian Graduate School of Management.
Alan Bradshaw
Vice President, Global Product & Technical Development
Al joined Club Assist US LLC. in July 2004 as Director of Sales S.E. region after serving at the AAA National headquarters in the Automotive Services division.
His 35 year automotive and motoring club industry experience includes certification as an ASE (National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence) Master Automobile technician, General Manager for a 11 facility Automotive Ventures Group, TBA (Tires, Batteries and Accessories) Sales representative for AMOCO Oil Co. before joining AAA Minnesota/Iowa in 1998 to begin his motoring club career. Al previously served on the Board of Directors, as an Executive Committee Member for the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) in North America and has a deep interest in advanced technology vehicles including Hybrid and Electric Vehicles and infrastructure development.
In his current role as Global Vice President of Product and Technical Development, he is responsible for technical innovation, global supply chain management, product quality assurance and technical training content development for motoring club partners around the world.
Donald Felts
President, North America
Don joined Club Assist in October 2006. The majority of Don’s professional career was with the California State Automobile Association (CSAA). He began his career with them in 1976 as the manager of fleet services. In 1990, Don assumed the first of many Vice President roles he would fill with CSAA as the Vice President, Automotive and Real Estate Services. Don retired from CSAA in July of 2006 from the role of Senior Vice President, Chief of Automotive Strategy. Don has received several awards for innovation and service quality through his career from the AAA National organization.
Vice President, Global Information Technology Brock joined Club Assist in August 2006 as Business Systems Administrator for the North American region. Prior to joining Over his career, Brock has demonstrated a passion for creative problem solving using industry leading technologies. This has helped deliver innovative technologies focused on the motoring club domain such as DataVision, Customer Focused Business Intelligence, AssistU, and InstaQuote. Brock has a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems. Brock Gourlay
Club Assist, Brock held technical roles in Healthcare, Software Development, and Defense. In his current role as Vice President of Global Information Technology, Brock oversees the IT department globally focusing on internal systems and capabilities, as well as developing a growing ecosystem of products and services for our customers.
In addition, he holds a Certified Project Management Professional designation, certifications in ITIL v3, and Systems Analysis and Design.
Marino Sonnemans
General Manager, Europe
Marino joined Club Assist in December 2011. Marino holds a technical commercial engineer (ing.) degree with an electronics background. He started his career in purchasing and supply & service in the test and measurement and telecom industries working for global operating multi nationals. He has a broad experience on lean methods and change management gained in different industries.
Marino held a COO position at a Dutch sports car manufacturer and worked as director operations in the retail industries.
John Tutt
Vice President, Global Business Development
John joined Club Assist in April 2008 as Vice President of Auto Glass after relocating from the UK. He established Auto Glass Operations in Australia and New Zealand before moving into Global Business Development in 2010. He is responsible for expanding the primary services of Club Assist Road Service, Auto Glass and mobile Battery Service with our motoring club partners.
John is a Board Member for RACQ Auto Glass in Queensland and Touring Auto Glass in Belgium.
Prior to joining Club Assist, John was with RAC for 11 years, where he was Head of Roadside Operations for 6 years and Operations Director at RAC Auto Windscreens for 5 years. John also holds an MBA from Warwick University in the UK.
