John Isaac is a solicitor, formerly a partner and consultant to the commercial law firm Middleton’s (now merged with the International firm K&L Gates). He is the former President and Chairman of RACV Limited, Chairman of SDI Limited, and former Deputy Chairman of Insurance Manufacturers of Australia Pty Ltd and former non-executive director of a number of other companies. He is the current Chairman of St. Vincent’s Hospital Foundation Victoria and was made a member of the Order of Australia in 2014.
Brett Davies founded Club Assist in 1992 with the vision to introduce a logistical model to automotive clubs worldwide that drives down their infrastructural costs and, simultaneously, increases their revenue streams. He has 30 years of extensive experience in the automotive industry. Known for his dedication to people management, Brett focuses the business on values – both the values of Club Assist’s client clubs, their members and the Club Assist employees. Under Brett’s directorship, Club Assist now reaches out to over 60 million automotive club members in 7 countries worldwide.
Neil Taylor is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of RACV Limited. Neil has over 25 years experience in the corporate sector in Australia and overseas, and was previously at Greyhound Australia as Chief Executive Officer. His current directorships include Intelematics Australia, and Insurance Manufacturers Australia. He has a BA in Geography from Leeds University, UK, and has completed courses at both Wharton and Harvard Business Schools in the US.
Ian Stone was appointed Managing Director in August 2009 and formerly CEO from August 2007. Ian has extensive senior management experience and expertise in the motor, home and health insurance industry. He is a Director of RAA Insurance Ltd and various Australian automotive associated entities.
Phil Turnbull is currently the Executive General Manager, Motoring & Mobility for RACV.
He is responsible for the businesses of Roadside Assistance, Motor Insurance, Salary Solutions and other motoring products and services. In previous RACV roles, Phil has managed home services, the call centre, marketing, ebusiness and retail outlet functions, as well as the Financial Services Company. He also sits on a number of RACV subsidiary Boards.
He holds the qualification of Bachelor of Science, majoring in Statistics and Pure Mathematics. His business experience includes senior positions in the financial services, telecommunications and research industries.
Phil has also represented the Life Insurance Industry as the Convenor of the Marketing Committee of Life Insurance Federation of Australia.
Ed joined The National Roads & Motorists’ Association in April 2015 as Executive General Manager, Strategy and Investments. With 20 years of strategy and business experience, gained from senior roles in several market-leading companies, preceded by a career in management consulting, Ed brings strong expertise in customer-led strategy development, digital transformation, and launching and growing new businesses.
Prior to joining The NRMA, Ed spent four years as General Manager, Strategy and Business Development, for Commonwealth Bank’s Retail Bank where he was responsible for developing and driving the overarching strategy and customer value-proposition for the Australian Retail Bank.
Before CommBank, he worked for six years at Rabobank, where he was the Group Executive responsible for strategy, marketing and product, as well as driving its new, high-growth retail businesses such as the online bank, RaboDirect, in Australia and New Zealand. Ed also spent eight years with international strategy consultants, LEK Consulting, where he worked with boards and executives across sectors including retail, banking, mining, oil & gas and transport.
Ed graduated from University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours.
